Harmony Row Vineyard

Harmony Row Vineyard was planted with Pinot Noir, Reisling, Merlot, and Chardonnay vines between 1999 and 2002. Due to the depth of the volcanic soils on this premium site, minimal irrigation has been required enabling the vines to establish a very deep root system . This means that the grapes develop wonderful flavours which are enhanced by the lengthy ripening season in this premium cool climate.

Available at present are:

• 2002 Cabernet / Merlot Blend.

• 2004 Vintage Merlot

• 2006 Vintage Merlot

• 2005 vintage lightly wooded Chardonnay

• 2007 vintage Reisling

The above wines, (except the Chardonnay made by Llew Knight)have been made by our wine maker David Cowburn at Cope Williams Winery and are superb, for drinking now or can be cellared for say 3 years.

You can enjoy them at our cellar door or in the bar of the entertainment venue.

Since year 2000 we at Harmony Row (formerly Loxley Vineyard) have been presenting terrific concert artists for your enjoyment .You have been to see us in the past and in the coming years we hope that you will join us again.
On your visit(s) you would have seen that apart from the concerts we have a substantial vineyard, which we have been diligently tending for all these years
Plantings were in 2000 and we have had some small vintages in previous years. However, this year will be our first big vintage and all being well we will be producing the following varietals.

• Pinot Noir table wine.
• Riesling
• Merlot/ Cabernet Blend
• Chardonnay.

Some of the best wine makers in our region will share the winemaking duties as the years progress. In 2007 David Cowburn of Cope-Williams Winery is making our vintage.
These wines will be available for sale through our venue and cellar door and will also be made available to various restaurants around our region and in the city.
As a friend and supporter of our music activities we are offering you this special invitation to join our new wine and music club. Not only will you be able to enjoy our wine and the facilities that we offer at a substantial cost saving, but you will also know that as a member you are helping to preserve and develop a unique facility at which our wonderful musicians can perform for your continuing enjoyment.

As a Wine and Music Club Member you will receive four cases of our premium wine as a priority each year.
As a bonus you can chose whether to receive

• one (1) additional dozen of wine during the year free of charge or
• receive a discount of 20% on the cost of your 4 cases of wine relative to the normal cellar door price.

Whichever you chose, you will also receive a 20% discount on 2 CONCERT TICKETS for each show that you attend and on all wine and meals purchased for yourselves at those shows.
You may decide to purchase additional cases of our wine. That wine will be supplied to you at a 25% discount on the usual cellar door price.
This represents SEVERAL HUNDREDS of dollars worth of value; for example a Member attending 3 concerts in a year would achieve an estimated $250/300 worth of value by way of discount.

2005 Chardonnay lightly wooded

Made by Llew Knight at Granite Hills Winery. Only a hint of oak in this lovely Chardonnay made by one of the best wine makers in Australia.
For drinking now.

2006 Cabernet/ Merlot Blend.

Made by David Cowburn. Lovely Cabernet tannin bite, rounded out by our Merlot. Perfect for drinking now or to lay down for a few years.

2006 Merlot

Made by David Cowburn. After about 18 months in the barrel, this Merlot is ready for drinking now, but will benefit from some time in the bottle. Smooth, with lots of fruity flavors.
2007 Riesling.

An delicious aromatic crisp wine. Our wine maker believes it is as good as one can get in this region. Sadly only a limited supply, but more to come this year. For drinking now
